Kamata West Junior High vs Meikō Junior High was the eighth-finals of the Nationals during the Generation of Miracles' second year. It was between Kamata West Junior High, where the Genius Twins played at, and Meikō Junior High, where Shigehiro Ogiwara played at.
After Meikō's loss, Ogiwara calls Kuroko while crying and apologizes for not keeping his promise, but tells Kuroko that he will definitely keep it the next year.
